Femininity, more than just the presence of female body parts, is rooted deep in the mental make-up of a person. Femininity entails the ingrained qualities that are normally accepted as being characteristics of a woman.

This article would take you through 10 to enhance your femininity.
  1. Think Like A Lady

Yes, you have read the book, “Act like a lady, think like a man” well, think like a woman and act like a woman because you are a woman.  Whatever you think is what you become. If you think like a man, you begin to act like a man and they begin to see you as their friend, not as the woman that you are.
  1. Love Your Body

The internet is full of companies showing off unrealistic body standards and influencing more women to slip into depression. Loving your body demands, you accept all the curves and flaws together. There might be places that need immediate medical attention and until the resources come, one must learn to love one’s body, wholeheartedly.
  1. Dress Like A Lady

Dressing like a woman does not always mean wearing ball gowns or short skirts; it means dressing true to you with some grace. If you prefer gowns, great! If you prefer jeans, awesome! All you have to do is to ensure that you are dressed with the casual intentionality of a woman.
  1. Be Clean

Now, this is something that cuts across both genders and all people in general need to get their hygiene in order. However, a striking point about femininity is the identification of femininity with cleanliness. Feminine energy is being deliberate about the health of the body. There is an irresistible attraction to people and/or things that are clean and in order.
  1. Talk Like A Lady

It is easy in this time and age for people to be brash with their choice of words. A lot of times, this stems from a need for self-expression. Self-expression is never frowned at for a woman but the manner in which you express yourself draws the difference between a woman and an uncultured person.

  1. Groom Yourself

Following the lockdown, this “culture” was forgotten and more or less ignored. Grooming does not mean staying over an hour in the bathroom. It is the little things that make the difference in appearance. Having non-greasy scalp, keeping short or long and clean nails and also taking time to shave hairs from the underarm and private parts. The place of Grooming cannot be overemphasised in the place of being a woman.
  1. Wear A Bit Of Makeup

Make-up is not a tool for changing facial features as much as it is a tool for enhancing the already available facial feature of the wearer. One does not have to pluck out the entire eyebrows only to draw another one. A simple lip balm and a touch of oil bolting powder are sure to get the work done.
  1. Be Confident

Societal norms have insinuated that a lady must at all times be timid and speak sparingly but if there is one thing a woman must learn from Queen Elizabeth and other ruling ladies is that a woman, regardless of the circumstance, should be confident. Confidence in your abilities, confidence in your worth and above all, confidence in your existence, is a garment every woman must wear.
  1. Be Graceful

Being graceful is a rare quality in high demand. It does not mean waving like the royals or eating a 12-course buffet. Being graceful means carrying yourself with intentionality that shows you know who you are and what you are worth. It is bigger than what you have; it boils down to your careful approach to the things you already have.
  1. Have Fun

There is always more to the feminine energy. That spark in the eye or that blush on the face or the unexplainable brightness of the persona. Whatever it is, “there is something about you that I can’t quite explain” and all that inner energy comes from choosing to have fun especially on bad days.

Conclusion

Being a healthy woman is a lot more than what you put on. It is about who you are and the virtues you exhibit. You can only be a healthy woman when you fully appreciate all you are and strive to maximise those strengths. Featured Image Source: PsyPost
