Welcome to another work week. Having spent some time with working professionals and business owners this previous week has made me more aware of one major key to our success. Our ability to make DECISIONS will make or mar us. I heard recently that we make thousands of decisions on a daily basis from what to eat, to what to wear, to what route to take to work etc. Some decisions facilitate life but some determine our outcome in life.
It is those DETERMINING DECISIONS I would like to speak about briefly. ‘Indecisions’ are decisions in themselves and when we fail to decide on the right thing to do, we have already decided our outcome in the future. What we are today is a result of the decisions we made yesterday & your decisions today will help in shaping tomorrow. Fulfillment or regret in the future will be determined by our decisions today.
As we step into this new week, I would like you to be more conscious about the decisions you are making. There are many things that can aid you in making the right decisions but let me share one of them right now. Your VISION determines what decisions you MUST take in life. The cab you take is the one willing to take you to your destination. So, desired outcomes should fuel your decisions today.
Again, let me ask you, what is your vision for yourself by December 31, 2014? If you do not have one, you are bound to make many unaligned life decisions. If you do have one however, you must DECIDE that it will become a reality and then DECIDE to pursue it. So, what are you going to DECIDE today?
