Although not announced officially yet, news via the grapevine has it that one of the top three telecommunications giant in Africa, Globacom, has appointed new and very familiar faces as their ambassadors.
These soon-to-be-announced ambassadors include M.I Abaga, Tiwa Savage, Flavour N’abania, Lynxxx, Naeto C, Bez and Chidynma. All parties were seen meeting at Eko Hotel and Suites throughout last week and interviews were held.
According to a source, this move is as a result of Globacom evolving into a new phase, intending to further showcase their image through young, vibrant music stars. There are also talks suggesting that that the next phase of ambassadors will consist of comedians. It is said that the negotiated cost of this new appointment is within 10-20 million, for the span of two years.
