One of the biggest dilemmas I used to face was finding that perfect outfit for a casual occasion. However, over the years I have learnt that stocking up on basic items such as black denim/jeans and a simple lace blouse can create a world of different outfit opportunities.
I picked black because it is a classic colour that looks great on all skin tones and it is also a neutral color. I was going for a casual chic look when I decided to pair my black denim with a black lace top. Two different (carefully selected) fabric textures create an amazing combination if done right. This is one of my favourite fashion rules when combining separates.
Add a new colour to your denim/jeans collection by investing in a black pair. It is slimming and it’s a refreshing step off the favourite blue denim. My look can easily be created on any budget and the best part is you can create new fashion moments with it.
