This is not right, as employees will feel relegated to the background. They need to understand the company vision, mission, aims and objectives. Make them understand the “why” of your business. The same way you want your customers to understand why they should buy from you. make your employees understand why they should work for you.
  • Treat them right

Some employers of labor feel the employees need them to pay bills. Although, this is true to an extent, but you need to keep them motivated. It is even for your own good. They work motivated, drive results and all parties are happy.
  • Reward when necessary

Make room for rewards, incentives and commissions/bonuses for work well-done. This is a huge encouragement in the workplace. When people are recognized for the good work they have done, and are handsomely rewarded, they are often pushed to do even better the next time.

Teamwork does not mean that team members will be found chatting away amongst themselves during work hours. It implies that there is cooperation and synergy among team members to ensure tasks are carried out as and when due.
  • Encourage career growth

This is very crucial in every company. Encourage your employees to take courses and attend industry trainings that will broaden their horizon. This helps them grow as individuals, contribute reasonably to the company and assures them of the fact that you are also interested in their growth. Support your employees as much as you can. At some points, they may be going through burn outs and personal challenges. Don’t be all about work.
