Kaymu is an online market place, where you can buy or sell products and services. Well, mostly products, like electronics, clothing and fashion accessories, computers and even vehicles. The idea behind the website is to assist merchants advertise their products for free on the site, and help buyers find really nice deals in their location.
How It Works:
As a seller, you can easily upload your products for sale on
kaymu.com.ng. You are allowed to upload up to 4 photos of your product, the description, and the price of your product. You can also decide if you want to sell at a fixed price or have an auction.
For you to upload any product, you must first register an account on the site. The information you would be required to provide include your full name, your birthday, your email address, your physical address, and other information.
As a buyer, you can either search for the product you’re looking for using the search box, or you can browse through the categories until you find what you’re looking for. Once you place your order, you would be contacted by the seller and you can arrange a pick up location.
Payment option: Cash on Pickup. This means you pay for your purchase when it is delivered to you or at the pickup location.

The homepage: the homepage looks good and it is easy to navigate. You can register an account, login or sell your product from the homepage.
Here are other things you can do on the homepage –
Browse by category – find products under select categories e.g. fashion, electronics, cars, real estates, health and beauty etc. This section is specifically for buyers.
Just beside this, is the search bar, where you can quickly search for the specific product you want to buy. However, you must use the ”all categories” drop box to filter your search.

Kaymu is an ok platform to buy and sell, I wont give it more than a 2 stars rating though. Their customer care system is almost none existing, plus if you are a seller on kaymu, please and please do not make use of their delivery service, the AIG, courier plus, etc. Cause in my own opinion that is equivalent to getting scammed, trust me, you can only do this if you dont like getting paid for your services. I am speaking from experience, sold a product to a buyer in another state, who wanted to pay on delivery, I usually handle this delivery things myself, but then I was like, the buyer requested for delivery via courier plus, a Kaymus medium of delivery. This product has been delivered since 04/02/2015, that is almost 2months ago, I still havent since my money, and these kaymu agents keeps bouncing me from one agent to another without getting me paid. So trust me when I say, their delivery medium is pure scam to me, and also buying on kaymu might be cool, but i’m not sure about selling on there. By the way Kaymu.com.ng please pay me my money and let me be done with you. Thank you
