Business growth is measured by the number of customers and their patronage so this is one great method of attracting customers. Complementary products do not necessarily have to serve the same purpose as the products offered up for sale but they have to be products needed/wanted by customers.

This, however, can not be done if the business does not provide its customers with maximum and excellent satisfaction. E-commerce business owners must optimize the use of search engines like Google and the like. We are in a world where people regularly surf the net to get answers to every question no matter how trivial it might be. Optimizing SEOs and ensuring that the business is easily found online is a way of growing the business and making it reach a larger audience.

An e-commerce business is not a physical business so limiting its target is synonymous with limiting the growth of the business. The world is a global village and with the internet, online transactions have been made easier and faster. Putting out the business in the global space is one way of promoting and expanding the business.  Durability and credibility are key in a business. No one wants to associate himself/herself with someone who is not credible and does not stay true to his/her words. Non-credibility of e-commerce business owners can lead to the end of the business. The durability of products is also important for recommendation sakes.
