The United Bank for Africa is offering students in universities across Nigeria the opportunity to become its ambassadors in their various campuses. Through its Campus Ambassadors Program, UBA aims to connect with young people who are passionate about its brand and make them part of its drive to become more youth-focused and dynamic.

UBA will be selecting 10 campus ambassadors who will be spreading the word about its products and services in their universities for a year. They will learn about UBA’s innovative products, come up with smart ways of reaching people on campus with information about its services, host fun events and act as feelers for the bank, collecting information on campus trends and helping the bank understand the unique environments of each campus. The overall aim of all this is to increase the bank’s sales and raise its profile and brand image as perceived by students in Nigeria’s universities.

Campus ambassadors could benefit from the UBA’s program in a number of ways. Internship opportunities in local UBA branches, yearly stipends, a 3-day training and development opportunity in the UBA Academy, as well as branded items are on offer for successful applicants.

To become an ambassador, applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate program; they must also have a UBA savings account, be conversant with the bank’s products, and possess strong written and verbal skills.

Students interested in becoming UBA Campus Ambassadors can apply by filling and submitting an online form on the UBA website.

Applications will be accepted until December 9, 2016.
