Last week saw a vibrant aspiring Nigerian baker determined to build what he hoped would be the tallest cake in the whole of Africa. The cake stood 28 ft tall and was unveiled at the Silverbird Galleria, at Victoria Island on Thursday, May 16th. It stood for four days on display (16th to 20th) and was cut up into slices for everyone to enjoy afterwards.
The spot for Tallest Cake in Africa on the Guinness Book of records is not taken yet, and so Mr. Tosan Jemide has seized this opportunity. We acknowledge this feat as an encouragement to us all to not stop dreaming big dreams.
