Review: Utopian Shopping Xperience

Shopping from the UK and USA just got easier, faster and cheaper. Utopian Shopping Xperience (@utopianshoppingxperience) is an online personal shopper and shipping service that helps you shop from any store in the UK/USA, and ships it to you anywhere in Nigeria. Gone are the days of looking for someone travelling abroad to help you buy something, or paying excess luggage fee because you sent them a pair of shoes. With USX, you pick the items you want, send the links to the personal shopper, Seyifunmi Jaguna, and after payment, have your items delivered to Nigeria by one week or more. They shop anything from clothes, baby products, to office furniture. I’ve used USX personally a couple of times, and here are what I can say about the services. Customer Service This was the first, most impressive thing about USX. I sent the first email with my order request, and she replied within a couple of minutes. Even with the time difference between Nigeria and the USA, USX replies your emails as soon as possible, and always keeps you updated on the progress of your orders. I changed the contents of my order a couple of times and she was very patient and polite. When the goods arrived, there was a handwritten letter and a gift from USX! Shopping and Charges You send the links to USX, and you receive a response confirming the availability of the items you picked. If any is out of stock, USX can suggest alternative stores or items similar to what you initially wanted. Payment can be made in Naira and Dollars, either through Nigerian bank accounts or via PayPal. I have paid through both methods and got immediate feedback. There is a fee for the shopping service and shipping, and that is dependent on your order. When I made the first order, I was worried it would cost an arm and a leg. In fact, I planned to cancel the order if I couldn’t afford the fees. When I received the invoice, I was really surprised to see how affordable it was. Compared to sending a friend, waiting endlessly or paying for excess luggage, USX is really affordable. USX does not ship goods you purchased online by yourself, which means you can’t be provided a USA shipping address to send your orders to. You can only send the links of what you want to buy, and she will do the buying and shipping for you. Delivery Another fantastic service delivery from USX. Completed orders are shipped every Thursday, and as soon as your orders are complete/delivered, they will be shipped on the next available slot. I received my order in a little over a week after it was shipped. Orders are meant to be picked up at an address but there is home delivery for Lagos addresses, for an extra fee. Overall, USX has offered an excellent service, and for me, they are my go-to choice for shopping outside Nigeria.
