  Gombe is one of the agrarian states in Northeastern Nigeria. I have never visited this state. But my friend, Ugo Chinedu, ‘The Lion’ of Lion’s Crib lives there. I have him to thank for today’s review. Whatever gaps were left in ‘The Lion’s’ review were filled by Gideon, the gracious staff of Dados, the Eatery under review.

Dados Foods is located along Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Road, Buba Shongo, Gombe state. Since its establishment on the 23rd of June, 2018, it has prided itself on customer satisfaction. Dados Foods provides a variety of delicious continental and local foods to customers. Beans and plantain porridge is one of their best meals. So, you may want to try it out when you stop by. The customer service at Dados Foods is great. It is worth mentioning that if your food of choice is not available at the eatery at the time of your visit, it can be prepared at a price. The staff are courteous, neatly dressed and efficient. As far as I’m concerned, this is even more important than delicious meals. That’s because even if good food attracts customers, bad service can scare them away.

Dados Foods runs a 9:00 am- 9:00 pm operation from Monday to Saturday and a 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm operation on Sundays. They offer catering services as well as home and office deliveries. At full capacity, the main dining area at the eatery can accommodate twenty-five persons. There’s a VIP lounge there as well but it can only be accessed with a token of one thousand Naira. The lounge can accommodate about fifteen persons. The restrooms are clean. Parking space, however, is a bit of a challenge; so, customers park by the roadside. The staff endeavour to provide prompt service so that customers who don’t want to linger can leave as quickly as they came. This allows other customers to take the vacated spaces by the roadside.
