DEDUNOLA MUSIC ACADEMY is a school of Music, Performing Arts and Media. Our school is synonymous to academic excellence and as part of our obligation, we are positioned to assist and educate both youths and adults in our society who aspires to become musicians, artists, actors, dancers, video editors and so on. Our humble beginning started with 12 staffs both permanent and part-time staffs and at the moment we have over 30 staffs working in our various departments.
Below are the different departments:
Music Department: This department is involved in the training of voice, music theories and practicals of all musical instrument and music genres. The school is an approved centre for ABRSM London examination called “The Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music”. An international professional body in charge of music globally.
We just concluded the first phase of ABRSM theory exams on the 28th February 2018. MUSON (Musical Society of Nigeria) representative Mr. Oluwaseun Aborisade, the Librarian and Orchestra Director was on ground to invigilate the examination.
Dance and Culture Department: This is a department of performing art. We train talented individuals in the art of dance both cultural dance and western. We encourage the importance of our culture in the school curriculum of Performing Arts. Such as
Media Department: The media department comprises of three different units:
Film Academy: where we train students in cinematography, post-production, photography, visual effects. Students are trained in acting skills, stunts, video editing, street vibes, and short films comedy.
DJ/MC Academy: This is where talented and skilled individuals are trained in the art of presentation, body posture, communication skills, public speaking and motivational speaking.
Studio Engineering and Audio Production: We produce gospel and secular artists. We have a platform for educating students in Studio engineering and Audio-software training. Under which there is a Record Label where intending gospel and secular musicians have a platform to rise in their careers.
Kiddies/Creche Department: we catch them young and encourage toddlers to be creative and discover their talents. We have a facility for children to learn and play while the guardians and parents are in various classes. Also, working-class parents can also drop their wards while they go for their daily activities.
Creative Art and Design: We also have a unit involve in learning creative art and design. Children are engaged in different activities where they learn how to create artworks, crafting, painting, design and decoration.
DMA Live band and Choral Group: We have an entertainment unit that deals with live performances at different occasions. They entertain guest at any events organized by our school.

Our office is located at No 50 2nd East Circular Road Benin City, Edo State and we need to improve the facilities to a more quality standard:
Dance Hall for choreography/dancing/ modelling/fashion shooting/photography/virtual effects and videoing.
Classrooms for students in Voice Training and Music Practical Classes.
Music Studio fully Air-conditioned for Music Production.
Crèche facilities for toddlers with Toys, Games, Art and Craft. Also Television for entertainment and learning.
Projector and Hall facilities for mini-conferences.
