Nigeria’s entertainment industry has experienced tremendous growth in the last decade. However, the lack of an effective distribution structure for the industry has meant that, despite the hard work and creativity of Nigeria’s film makers, actors, artistes, scriptwriters and comedians, not to mention record label executives and artiste managers, its full potential is yet to be realised. The new distribution model, details of which will be made available to the public later this month, is being championed to bring lasting solutions, and foster growth in the industry.
