Nigeria’s entertainment industry has experienced tremendous growth in the last decade. However, the lack of an effective distribution structure for the industry has meant that, despite the hard work and creativity of Nigeria’s film makers, actors, artistes, scriptwriters and comedians, not to mention record label executives and artiste managers, its full potential is yet to be realised.
After a considerable period of observing Nollywood and the entertainment industry, and trying to facilitate human capital development in the sector, Prof. Pat Utomi is set to launch a distribution structure developed to effectively deliver Nigerian entertainment products to end users within and outside the country.
The new distribution model, details of which will be made available to the public later this month, is being championed to bring lasting solutions, and foster growth in the industry.
