Paga, a Nigerian online payment solution, has announced PHCN – Power Holding of Nigeria Company Plc – payment on its platform. This started a few days ago, October 29th, and will cover the pre-paid zones of Lagos and Abuja; and post-paid payments will be available nationwide. So with a Paga account, that you have deposited to, through a Paga agent, or through a partner bank or through your verve or MasterCard, you can pay your power bills in three simple ways. Online; through the Paga website, then you click the PHCN icon that matches your zone and make your payment. SMS; you can pick the corresponding SMS code for your zone, Post Paid – PHCN,  Eko Zone (Pre-paid) – PHCNEKO, Abuja (Pre-Paid) – PHCNABJ. So with any of the codes you follow this format: “pay” <Amount> <Payment Zone/Type (i.e.PHCNEKO)> <Meter Number> to 0816 123 2284. You can also pay through a Paga Agent, at any of their outlets nationwide. Paga attracts a transaction fee of 100 naira.  So if you need to pay your PHCN bill…Just Paga it!
