1. As part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation, promote mutual development and trade between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Andrew Pocock at the weekend held a strategic meeting with the President of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede. 2. Nissan is bringing the Goal of the Tournament competition to the 2015 Orange Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) football tournament and giving fans and players the chance to win big. Youths under the aegis of Activista, a youth arm of Action Aid, UK, marched through the streets of Akure, Ondo State, on Saturday to sensitise voters against the vice of electoral violence ahead of the coming general elections. 7. Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo returned to the Middlesbrough starting eleven and played all 90 minutes as his club defeated Charlton 3-1 to keep up with their promotion chase. 8. The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has finalized plans to en­roll quoted companies with minimum market capital­ization of $1 billion into its soon-to-be launched pre­mium board. According to its CEO, Mr. Oscar Onyema, who disclosed this Thursday in Lagos, the plan has reached advanced stages toward the launch of the NSE premium board and development of the growth board. 9. Chams Mobile and Skye Bank plc have signed an agreement to launch the Virtual Visa Card in Nigeria. The card is an entirely digital payment card for online and mobile use. 10. Dangote Group has said that its current focus is to increase the pace of the development of its multi-billion dollar new businesses to meet completion timelines.
