Ayomikun Rapheal Olowu popularly called “Rafael – O” is one of Nigeria’s fastest rising R&B Gospel acts, he’s a multi-talented songwriter, singer, keyboardist and performer who started his career with the church choir at the age of 7 by playing percussion. By the time he was 14, he had mastered the piano, thus becoming his church’s lead keyboardist.
To further hone his musical skills, “Rafael – O” received formal music training at Tenstrings Music School to learn more about music (Voicing). This Ondo state born vocalist also holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Madonna University.
In his secondary school days as a keyboardist, he was part of a musical band that played in shows and concerts within Nigeria. At the beginning of his career, he was at different times a backup singer for several super stars. Today he prides himself on the fact that his music is enriched with originality, and a good blend of traditional and contemporary styles.
Rafael- O’s has released his debut singles: “Oluwa ni” produced by Segun and “Too Much” produced by E-kelly.
