Now this is a story all about how…

My life got flipped turned upside down…

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was and still is one of my favourite sitcoms of all time. Hopefully, some day I’ll get to thank Will Smith in-person for the funny episodes that made my childhood. Back in the early 90s, he was a young, scrawny rapper-turned-actor with potential. Now, Will a.k.a. Mr. Box Office stands out as an A-list actor who’s made his mark in Hollywood, with stellar performances in films like Ali, The Pursuit of Happyness, Seven Pounds and I am Legend. YouTube host, Evan Carmichael recently outlined Will’s 10 Rules for Success in his popular series. Check them out below:
  1. Don’t listen to the little man “You have a dream? You’ve got to protect it.”   2. Where you are isn’t where you’re going to be “We grew up with the sense that where we were almost didn’t matter because we were becoming something greater.”   3. Make a choice “There’s a redemptive power that making a choice has… Just decide what’s it going to be, who you’re going to be and how you’re going to make it happen.”   4. Have a purpose “When you wake up in the morning and your life means something to somebody other than you, you have a purpose….”   5. Be great “Greatness is something that truly exists in all of us… This is what I believe and I’m ready to die for it.”   6. Commit “The road to success is through commitment.”   7. Don’t be outworked. “I will not be outworked, period.”   8. Work on your skills “No matter how talented you are, your talent is going to fail you if you’re not skilled.”   9. Let fear motivate you. “I hated being scared to do something… I started attacking things I was scared of.”   10. Be amazing at what you do!
