The Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, has approved the appointment of 4 new High Court judges for Lagos state.
The new judges are the Chief Registrar of the High Court of Lagos State, Mrs. Iyabo Olamide Akinkugbe; Mrs. Serifat Iyabode Sonaike, Mr. Abdulfattah Molawale Lawal and Mr. Abisoye Jubril Bashua.
In a statement from the Office of the Chief Registrar of the High Court of Lagos, the governor’s approval was sequel to the recommendation of the National Judicial Council under the Chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Aloma Mukhtar.
The judges are expected to be sworn-in by Governor Fashola on Friday 21st November, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja.
