Following the success of the debut edition of his comedy show tagged Oxymoron: X-Files, Kenny Blaq has announced the date for the 2018 edition of the show. The second edition which is tagged Oxymoron II: The Rush, is slated for the 29th of July 2018.
According to Blaq, planning for the show started several months back and promises to give guests a better show than the previous edition. About the event, he is quoted as saying, “We have been working on this event behind the scenes for a few months now. The plan is to raise the bar higher and deliver total and original entertainment and art to Nigerians. We won’t disappoint come July 29th by the grace of Almighty God.”
Kenny Blaq’s comedy show, Oxymoron: X-Files, was last year awarded the best comedy show of the year at the Naija FM Comedy Awards. His campaign, “The Oxymoron of Kenny Blaq”, is aimed at showcasing his many talents, which he says is not limited to standup comedy alone. Blaq’s comedy style is unique as it mixes comedy with music and dance.
Oxymoron II: The Rush is billed to take place at the EKO Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
