This weekend, hundreds of entrepreneurs from across the South East of Nigeria will converge at the Imo Youth Centre in Owerri to network, gain valuable insights into the workings of the modern business world, and present their innovative business ideas to the public. It’ll all unfold at the Imo Startup Weekend.

The Imo Startup Weekend 2016 is tagged Getting Started and Growing in Business; activities at the event will revolve around this theme. There will be a pitch session in which startups showcase innovative ideas, talks from experts and experienced professionals, insightful discussions, and networking sessions.

The event’s organizers say it presents budding entrepreneurs with a chance to gain from ideas that will be shared- thought nuggets which could help bring startup dreams to life. There’s also an opportunity to connect with key stakeholders of the South East’s business scene, and build important business relationships. Participants should come away inspired and armed with the information- and perhaps the support -they need to take their entrepreneurial pursuits to new heights.

The Imo Startup Weekend will hold on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Click here to register for the event.
