Nigerian Actor Mike Ezeruonye’s new wife played hard to get for two years. Nkechi Nnorom who is a physiology student based in Canada met Mike at a movie location which happens to be her god mother’s house.
At the time, she didn't know Mike at all, let alone his celeb symbol. As a result of Mike's fascination by her oblivion of his star image, Nkechi was a difficult catch for him. But Mike wasn't worried because as he claimed to have enjoyed all the time he spent trying to woo her. When she found out, it added to the already difficult situation for Mike.
It was two years after they met that Mike proposed to her. It was on her birthday and she couldn't reject the marriage proposal. The couple had their traditional wedding on Saturday May 22, 2010.
She confessed she only knew actors like Regina Askia, Bob Manuel-Udokwu and Saint Obi since she left Nigeria soon after she was done with her secondary school education. “I love him because he’s a good man and I feel very happy to be his wife” Nkechi said of Mike.
She has no plans of returning to Canada but would remain in Nigeria with the actor.
At least she's not playing hard to stay.
