Independence Day celebrations have come and gone, however, the goal to achieve a better tomorrow won’t diminish. It’s about time we reflected on what Independence really means to us; set aside our differences, remind ourselves that we are all in this together, and together we are stronger to make it. To celebrate the auspicious event, a lot of activities took place – weddings, beach parties, cultural functions etc, and as expected Nigerians would seize any opportunity to showcase their love for anything through their dressing. For instance, during “valentine’s day” you’d see the red and white combination all over – sometimes these combination looks awful and outrightly alarming.
