FRSC Gets New Management Board

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, has inaugurated a new Management Board for the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), to oversee its affairs. The new board includes Felix Chukwu – Chairman, Jackie Umoru, Ahamadu Inuwa Gambo, Dr. Aminu Bello, and Osita Chidoka – Corps Marshall. Anyim said, “This appointment is yet another opportunity for you to continue your worthy services to Nigerians and to contribute more particularly to the realisation of the transformation agenda of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.” “The commission was poised to meeting the Accra declaration of reducing road traffic crash facilities by 50 per cent by 2015, while pursuing vigorously the goals of the United Nations decade of action for road safety, (2011-2020).” Chairman, of the board, Felix Chukwu, in response, said, “We are determined to support, drive and give unalloyed loyalty to the tenets and vision of Jonathan’s transformation agenda.”
