It will be recalled that following the spike in the number of COVID-19 cases across the country, the government on March 4, 2021, ordered all civil servants from the grade 12 level and below to work from home as part of efforts to contain the spread of the virus. However, the workers will now return to their office premises from December 1 according to a new circular signed by Folashade Yemi-Esan, the Head of Service of the Federation. The directive also noted that while they resume office on December 1, they are also required “to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result done within 72 hours.”
