Former Super Eagles skipper and Bolton Wanders FC skipper, Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha, has been unveiled as brand ambassador for Bullet Energy Drink.
“It was an easy decision to choose Jay-Jay as a face for Bullet Energy drink. His commitment to excellence, his work ethic even after retiring from active football and his liveliness are all qualities we identify with. It’s just a great match” one of the management officials was quoted saying in a press statement.
Jay-Jay’s numerous career laurels included; winning the Africa Nations Cup in 1994, being the Olympic Gold winner in Atlanta 1996, being the most expensive African player after PSG awarded him $24 million in 1998, being named BBC African footballer of the year in 2004, as well as scoring that memorable goal where he virtually dribbled half the Karlsruhe defense to score past a flailing Oliver Kahn!
In a bid to excite and reward Bullet fans in Nigeria, Bullet Energy Drink is also reliving some of Jay-Jay’s best skills with the ‘Bullet Juggle with Jay-Jay’ online competition.
There are great prizes to be won, electronics, mobile phones and home appliances. All you need to do is recreate one of JayJay’s greatest ball moves and upload it to this Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/bulletenergynigeria and you could stand a chance to win awesome stuff. Five finalists will be selected to perform in front of Jay-Jay at a party later this year and the winner will be selected on the night.
