The Economic Community of West African States is set to celebrate its 40th Anniversary with a fashion week from 28th to 30th August 2015 at the world-class Dreambeach Hotel, Cotonou, Republic of Benin. The event has been tagged “ECOWAS Fashion Week”. According to the organisers of the event, the objectives of this fashion week are: 1. To revive the African culture through fashion. 2. To promote the dignity of womanhood. 3. To open new windows of business opportunities. 4. To encourage indigenous fashion designers. 5. To redefine fashion shows by showcasing other fashion accessories. 6.
