Telecommunication giant, MTN, has added new set of musicians to her rich base of brand ambassadors.
According to reports by NET newspaper, singers, Banky W, Dr SID, Sould Sultan, HarrySong, Sean Tizzle and ukwu master, Timaya have all put pen to paper with MTN- who are known for generating millions through its ringback tone service.
Confirming Dr. SID’s deal, his record label boss, Don Jazzy, in an Instagram post wished Dr.SID a happy birthday and announced that SID is now an ambassador of MTN
“Shout out to my bro @Iamdrsid as he celebrates his birthday today and activation as an MTN ambassador. Welcome to the Yello family bro. God bless” he captioned.
Banky, Sultan, SID and Harrysong were all featured on the last MTN Loud in Naija Tour which took place from November to December 2013 in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja and Ibadan.
The quartet’s songs were also included in the last two mixtapes – ‘#MTNLoudInNaijaMix’ and ‘Loud In Naija Valentine 2014 Mix’ MTN released in December and February respectively.
MTN currently have Davido, Wizkid, KCEE, Don Jazzy, D’Prince, Iyanya, Praiz, Chidinma, iMyke and Tiwa Savage as their ambassadors.
