NTDC The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) has agreed with a technology firm, Orbit Technologies and Investment Limited to register staffers in all hotels in Nigeria. The biometric registration process commenced this week and is expected to grow a database that will nestle trust for the Nigerian tourism campaign, on security and professionalism. The Director-General of the NTDC, Olusegun Runsewe, mentioned, “genuine people work in hotels while ensuring the total security of tourists and visitors to the country” and the necessity “to integrate every staff working in the hospitality industry in a single database, which will be monitored by NTDC as a way of checking the movement of fraudulent people within the industry” in his comments on the project.
