The Solocam is a selfie stick that lets journalists shoot videos while on the field without the extra add-on of a multi-membered camera crew. The device comprises a selfie stick attached to a high-definition bluetooth microphone. According to blog Techcrunch, the camera’s takes look surprisingly professional. It also comes with an app for your mobile device and allows you record audio, along with features like a teleprompter and special effects. Basic versions cost about $50 but the pro goes for $149. You can also get upgrade microphones and attachments to mount other cameras with the more expensive version.
