The Youth The Future (TYTF) is a musical, dance, drama, art, poetry and comedy festival aimed at bringing entertaining, educative and interactive activities within the environment of universities.
With a goal of creating a platform where youths can display their talents, TYTF engages youths in extracurricular activities like music, dance, comedy, drama, poetry, fashion, art and an educative forum between students and stars.
Young and upcoming artistes can mould their careers in the entertainment industry under anchoring superstars.
The event offers an opportunity to win ₦500,000, perform on stage with artistes and a follow-up coaching deal. Participants are required to pick up forms online at www.youngn.ng.
This year, TYTF would tour 5 universities in Eastern Nigeria from the 22nd of September to the 22nd of October. The schools and schedules include:
- ABIA POLY: Form submission ends on 21st July and audition starts on 22nd and ends 23rd July at Luxury City Hotel Sugarland 84b Aba-Owerri Road, Aba.
- FUTO: Form submission ends on 28th July and audition starts on 29th and ends 30th July at Mimi Bar Plot 5046, All Seasons Avenue, beside All Seasons Hotel.
- IMT: Form submission ends on 4th August, and audition starts on 5th and end on 6th August at Universal Hotel Enugu No 3 Aguleri Street, Independence Layout, Enugu.
- UNICAL: Form submission ends on 11th August, and audition starts on 12th and ends on 13th August at UNICAL Conference Centre inside UNICAL Campus
- UNIPORT: Form submission ends on 18th August, and audition starts on 19th and ends on 20th August at Habitat Resort Hotel 5 Habitat Drive, NTA/Choba Road, Rumualogu, Port Harcourt.
