Acting President Yemi Osinbajo Osinbajo makes history as the first Vice President to be in office for 100 days without any break as a result of a medical ailment of the President. As it is the norm to assess every President’s achievement in their service to people, Osinbajo’s government has also been assessed. While Acting President Yemi Osinbajo may be on the acting on the orders of the President, it has finally dawned on Nigeria’s citizens that he Osinbajo, has spent 100 days in office.  The primary role of a Vice President is to take over the duties of the president, if and only if the president is incapacitated to perform such roles. Remember, Former President Good luck Jonathan took over the role of the presidency during the Late President Umaru Musa Yar Adua’s illness and death. He evidently, however, did not spend so many days before a move to reelect took place. Osinbajo has made official visits to several states and has represented the nation internationally. This is as a result of President Buhari’s absence in office receiving an undisclosed medical treatment in the United Kingdom since May 7. President Buhari is not only the first serving head of state to have extended number of days outside their company, Osinbajo has also made history as the first Acting President to use 100 days in office.
