2. Look To Others For Inspiration
Another step towards boosting your creative power is to look to successful people and industries for inspiration. If you’re an aspiring writer, it’s ideal to look to your favourite writer (a successful and renowned one) and his works to get inspiration. Many great writers were influenced by other great writers. If you’re a businessperson, you can co-opt the ideas of your favourite industries into your business, and bring something new into your industry and outsmart your competitors.
3. Do Something You Love
Love and creativity are intertwined. If you’re doing what you hate, you’ll get stressed out easily, and this will kill your creative power. When you’re doing what you love, your mind will always be animated to bring a whole new experience into your business. When a hobby is your work, sparks of creativity becomes common. People who do what they love aren’t tired of improving or innovating. Also, outside work, your hobby, such as playing an instrument, can boost your creative power.
4. Take Walks
The average person sits between 7 and 15 hours every day. This is very dangerous to your health; it can lead to body and mental fatigue, which negatively affects your creative power. Avoid sitting in a position for too long. Take at least 2 minutes to walk after every 1 hour of sitting. Learn to stretch out even in your workplace. Further, an evening walk should be taken seriously if you want to boost your creative power. Feed your eyes and mind with the sight and sounds of your city. This can improve your imaginative power.
5. Get In The Right Mood
Not being able to solve a problem or lacking ideas can be frustrating. Most often, not being in the right frame of mind can affect your capacity to birth ideas. If you want to be creative, always be in the right mood. Listening to music, reading a book, drinking a cup of coffee or staying in complete silence can get you in the right mood. However, it’s expedient to know what sets you in the right mood if you want to boost your creative power. For Steve Jobs, music gets him in the right mood.

6. Unplug
“There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.” These were the words of Alan Cohen. Most of the greatest ideas ever known in human history were born when the proponents weren’t wracking their brains. Sometimes a great idea can pop up when you’re sleeping, hiking, under the shower, driving, taking an evening walk, or simply resting under a tree shade. If you’re experiencing creativity block, unwind, unplug, and watch your brain do its magic.
7. Seek Advice and Feedbacks
It’s time-consuming to solve a problem all by yourself. As an entrepreneur, it’s timesaving to seek advice from more experienced people within or outside your niche. You can get feedback from customers about your service or product. It is not a sign of weakness to seek help. Seeking more than three or four perspectives can spark your creative power. One or two pieces of information from feedbacks and advice made available to you can inspire you to think out new ideas.
