He was treated and stabilized at the Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja and was discharged on January 12, 2018. On the same day, according to Saharareporters, he left Nigeria for Germany and was treated at the St. Joseph Hospital in Wiesbaden and then proceeded to fix his broken arm at another hospital in Munich.
