The owner of xtrabrideLagos is Oyetomiwa Elizabeth Daniel from Ogun State, the south Western part of Nigeria. She is the first child of her parent’s four children. She was born into a Christian family. She attended St. Louis Secondary School then proceeded to Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State where she obtained a degree in Law. She served at a law firm after completing her one year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Upon graduation, Tomiwa learnt fashion designing in Paris before moving back to Nigeria. She specializes in making creative detailing, using appliques and embellishments. Her training has become a great weapon for her in the fashion industry. Asides being a fashion designer, Tomiwa is proficient in graphic designing, interactive design illustration, creative detailing, writing and oratory. She has fashion offices in Abuja, Turkey, United Kingdom and a headquarter in Lagos.

She believes that there are no boundaries when it comes to fashion. In just a year after launching her fashion brand, XBL, Tomiwa has recorded remarkable progress. The fashion brand is gradually becoming the first choice for all females who want exquisite looks. XBL dresses are perfect for intending brides and generally, anyone who wants to leave a party with a look no one can get over or stop talking about. Their dresses are a good fit for dinner, reception, wedding, red carpet and others. Of the many exquisite designs made by XBL, the one that has been an internet sensation for the past few days is the dress designed for the mother of one, a veteran Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, for Rita Dominic traditional wedding in Owerri, Imo State. On the 19th of April, 2022, one of Nollywood finest actresses, a veteran in the entertainment industry, a role model and one of the few scandal free celebrities tied the knot with her sweetheart, her publisher beau, a publisher of Daily Times Newspaper, Fidelis Anosike in her hometown in Owerri. The dress was also heavily talked about by internet users across various social media platforms. The style was praised for being simple, yet sophisticated, elegant, jaw breaking and exquisite. The style has a corseted waist wide wide sleeves and it had a ruffled detail on the waist. The arms, chest and hems of the dress were decorated with gold applique, giving it a broken glass illusion.
