Enugu city, also known as the coal city, is the capital of Enugu State. It is a tranquil place with a remarkable hilly landscape that makes city tours fun. The city is the birthplace of some notable Nigerian artists like Sonny Okosun, Flavour, Tu Face Idibia, and Phyno, amongst others. Even Nollywood directors often come to Enugu to shoot scenes of their movies because of its beauty.

A trip to Enugu is not complete without a hike up a hill. From Milliken Hills you can get to see the Iva Valley below and an overview of the city. The panoramic view is worth the hike.

If frolicking in the sand on a hot day is your thing, then visiting this beach is just perfect. It’s not a typical beach but rather a wide stretch of sand that borders a flowing shallow stream. Here, visitors enjoy having picnics and taking photos.
