Isis Models is currently one of the budding modelling agencies moulding young black girls into super models and putting Nigeria on the international fashion map. The founder, Joan Okorodudu, an ex beauty queen and serial entrepreneur who sees the potential abounding in the industry, is on a mission to unravel the goldmyne for the world to see. Taking Initiative   Before Joan started Isis Models, she was no stranger to the industry. The prolific entrepreneur had dabbled into a number of businesses which revolved round the fashion industry. So with the wealth of experience she gathered from the industry, it is safe to say that there was no stopping her from launching one of Nigeria’s top-notch modelling agencies. Her journey as a modelling agent started in 2007 when she created a modelling competition in search of female models with the propensity to make it on a global level.

The winner was announced and assured of a contract with an international modelling agency, but to no avail. In reaction to this, Joan decided to take the bull by the horns and launched Isis Models, which today is responsible for bringing some of Africa’s most sought-after models to limelight. The defining moment for her came when she flew ten of her models to Johannesburg during the South Africa Fashion week and they caught the attention of the owner of a modelling agency. It was at this point Joan knew her models had the potentials to become big. Achievements and Milestones  Through the Nigeria’s Next Super Model contest organized by Joan, the agency has discovered a good number of super models. Her models have walked the runway for prestigious events like the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Couture Fashion Week, Island of the World Bahamas, Berlin Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. Some of the supermodels that have emerged through the agency include Olubunmi Ademokoya, Amaka Chira, Isi Atagamen, Cynthia Omorodion, and Eno Akpan amongst others. One of the most recent winners of the Nigeria’s Next Super Model contest, 15-year-old Favour Lucky, has  made her name in the Africa Modelling industry in a short time and has been featured on an international edition of Glamour Magazine. Over a decade and still going strong, Isis Modelling Agency has the potentials to transform Nigeria into a fashion powerhouse with it’s a team of outstanding models.
