  The British Council has announced grants for the UK and international organizations that collaborate with each other on digital, face-to-face, and hybrid artistic projects. The International Collaboration Grants are worth a cumulative ₤3.5 million and will be extended to entities in the UK and the rest of the world that work together on creative artwork.

Between ₤5,000 and ₤20,000 in small grants are on offer, as are large grants of between ₤20,000 and ₤75,000. These will be awarded to applicants that can demonstrate that their projects benefit each individual artist involved, and address important contemporary themes. This program is designed to encourage global partnerships between UK organizations and their counterparts across the world.

  • Win grants of various amounts (between ₤5,000 and ₤75,000) to support their work
  • Get the chance to strengthen their capacities and execute projects they are concerned about

Eligibility

Applicants should meet these conditions to be considered for a grant:
  • Be an arts and culture organization, or a higher education or research institution with a focus on arts and culture.
  • The project should consist of art forms in any of these categories: film, creative technology (immersive, virtual and augmented reality), literature, visual art, theatre and dance, architecture, fashion and craft, and music.
  • Each project should include at least one UK based organization.
  • Project types could include residences, exhibitions, festivals, showcases, creative use of archives, and research and development of future project ideas.
