  • Look into your future
Since a vision statement is a projection of future aspiration, you need to first understand where your organization is headed and what it wants to achieve. What do you need to do to make more sales, to achieve expansion, to be a popular brand? State how that mission would bring value to people and the world at large.
  • Find out the Purpose and Position of your organization
In writing a vision statement, you need to consider your company’s objectives, advantages, and scope. Why does your brand exist? How are you different from others? What should you do to achieve your objectives? Associate your mission with values that your organization has or should have. Does your vision project honesty, fairness, availability, teamwork, service, etc. State it.
  • Find out what sets you apart
In writing a vision statement, you have to project a unique selling proposition that meets your customers’ needs. Talk about things you want to achieve to create a better life for your customers or employees.
