The last paragraph on the page of the BAU Executive Education reads “We hope to continue innovating, improving and adjusting to provide the best learning possible to all our students.” This is no ordinary talk. Quite different from the BAU Online, the BAU Executive Education (don’t confuse them) now has a dedicated learning management system with extended collaborative, interactive and learner support features.

To meet the growing demand of her students, the system has introduced six new executive programs necessary for business management: Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Supply Chain Management, Brand Management, Business Communications, and Customer Relations Management. In addition, BAU Executive Education offers custom corporate programs where custom programs are tailored to an organization’s specific needs.

One shouldn’t be surprised with the rate at which the idea of Gossy Ukanwoke, the founder, is growing. Times have changed, times are changing and systems have to buckle up to meet up with this fact. In a world that is increasingly going digital, our educational system needs a digital reform to be relevant. And the BAU team has not only caught this vision early, they are always improving and innovating new ideas to meet the demands of Nigerians who are hungry for education.

New wines cannot keep in old wine skins. Quoting former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, “Unless we develop new solutions for education, by 2050…we’ll be a country full of uneducated and hopeless people.” This is what BAU is doing; through her online and on-campus programs, the structure of semesters, modules, and duration are redesigned to meet the present situation without compromising the flexibility of her students.

Gossy Ukanwoke is a graduate of the Girne American University with a B.Sc. in Management Information Systems. His passion to reform Nigeria’s educational system is radical and contagious. As BAU Executive launches today, do well to say hello at executive.bau.edu.ng.
