The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Forum (TEF Forum) will return to Lagos for its fourth edition, on the 25th of October 2018, at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

As is the custom of the forum to thrill guests with firsts, this year, over 5,000 African entrepreneurs will linkup with top African investors from the public and private sectors, as well as global leading investors — for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to connect, share ideas, grow networks and possibly forge new partnerships.

The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF), is Africa’s biggest non-profit organization focused on the growth of Africa’s economy, through the development of the private sector via entrepreneurship.

Founded in 2010, by Nigerian billionaire philanthropist, Tony O. Elumelu, the foundation is aimed at improving the competitiveness of the private sector in Africa, whilst, developing Africa’s next generation of leaders in business and entrepreneurship.

In 2015, the foundation took its next step directed at the African entrepreneur, with the launch of the TEF Entrepreneurship Program (TEFEP) — which represents TEF’s 10 year, $100 million commitment to recognize and grow 10,000 African entrepreneurs, create one million jobs and add $100 billion in revenues to Africa’s growing economy. According to TEF, so far, over 300,000 applications have been received from African entrepreneurs, and 4,460 selected persons have been trained and funded.

The foundation’s success story is one that has leading Africa and global organizations, scrambling for a place beside the African philanthropic giant, and this presence is what TEF is hoping to expose entrepreneurs to at this year’s edition of the forum.
