The year’s just about wrapped up and we have a lot to be grateful for. If you’re like me, you’re probably going to be attending some of the most anointed and inspirational programmes such as The Experience, Shiloh, RCCG’s Camp Meeting and finally, your own church’s service to bring the year to a glorious conclusion.
But to what end?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t attend. I’m saying WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE ANOINTING OF 2012 and who’s to say 2013 will be different? Sure, your Pastor will prophecy increase, breakthrough, new levels, marriage etc and all these are available through faith. But faith without YOUR works is dead, being alone. The anointing of God is NOT for goose pimples, speaking in tongues and walking in the clouds.
It’s to ACT, CAUSE CHANGE and to go into the media, marketplace and “all the world” and bring God to where they are through YOUR EXCELLENCE, WISDOM, CLASS and a heck of a lot of EXECUTION!
Remember this, for every time you shout ‘Amen’ concerning a prophecy or prayer this year, God’s going to be expecting YOU to back it up with YOUR ACTION!
David would have never killed Goliath until he STOPPED TALKING and stepped on the battlefield, and it wasn’t until he THREW the FIRST STONE that God could get the job done! Promise me that in 2013, you’re going to STOP TALKING about getting married, getting that contract, going back to school or finally making 6 figures.
Will you please throw the 1st stone! And if you miss, IMPROVE YOUR AIM, REVISE YOUR STRATEGY and throw it until it hits the target!
