  If you are a woman who runs an SME and you would like to prepare your business for investment from external sources, here’s an opportunity you should take advantage of. The Growth4Her Investor Readiness Accelerator is accepting applications from female entrepreneurs who could benefit from its training and resources, which are designed specifically to take their businesses closer to being fundable.

Now seeking its second cohort, this accelerator program will run for 6 months. It will also provide support of various kinds, as well as access to experienced business experts. The organizers of this program say they hope that enrollees will emerge from it more technically skilled and better able to pitch their enterprise to investors.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet these conditions:
  • Should be at least 51% owned by a woman, or at least 20% owned by a woman with at least one woman as CEO or COO
  • If a board exists, at least 30% of it should be women
  • Have between 5 and 300 employees
  • Have a loan size of $5,000 and $1 million (must not be traditional financial institutions)
  • Recorded sales of between $35,000 and $15 million
  • Assets worth between $100,000 and $15 million

Register to attend the CN Business Mixer
  • Applicant must be a C-level executive at the business they are representing
  • Must be willing to devote a week to an intensive virtual or physical boot camp
  • Should be able to devote 3 hours to mentorship engagement for 8 weeks
