  First Bank is calling on young Nigerians who want to begin a career at the intersection of banking and technology to apply for a place in its training program. This initiative, the First Bank Technology Academy, is designed to equip enrollees with the knowledge and skills they need to start and sustain a successful career in the contemporary tech space.

This edition of the First Bank Technology Academy is its second and will provide participants with learning opportunities similar to what was available in the first season. Beneficiaries will be selected through a rigorous, multi-level process involving identity verification, tests, and interviews. Persons accepted into the academy can expect to reap vital rewards from sessions facilitated by experienced professionals.

Eligibility

This program is open to persons who meet the following criteria:
  • Should not be older than 27 years
  • Have a degree in a STEM discipline, within at least the Second Class Upper Division
  • Graduated from an institution recognized and accredited by the NUC
  • Be interested in and knowledgeable about local and global technology trends
  • Have evidence of completing the NYSC program or possess an exemption letter
