The Lagos State Government football fiesta will hold next week, from 27 – 30th, in an event that will be a convergence of football with the entertainment industry.  The event will be outstanding, featuring personalities of coveted qualities like UK Portsmouth FC academy players and staff; former West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough FC coach, Bryan Robson; France ’98 World Cup Winner, former Real Madrid Player and current Arsenal FC scout, Christian Karembeu; former Nigerian goalie, Peter Rufai; Nigerian International, Sam Sodje; British female football forward, Eniola Aluko; The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; Naeto C, Wizkid, Sasha and Wande Coal are among the long list of entertainers for the event. The event will also coincide with the Soccerex Seminar, signaling an important week for football in Lagos and in Nigeria. The event will be held at the Eko Football Arena opposite Lagos Oriental Hotel, Oniru Estate, Lekki Lagos. Programs lined up for the four days of the event include an opening ceremony, to show the rich culture of Lagos and to introduce the event; there will be soccer matches, coaching clinics, youth football competition and lots of music and dancing.
