Sweet Indulgence, a bakery shop that is a household name to those who value quality in their baked goods, has recently carved another niche for itself by winning Wed Magazine’s Baker of The Year award.
This year’s award ceremony, which is the inaugural edition, was put together by Wed Magazine, the organizers of Nigeria’s largest wedding exhibition- Wed Expo. Wed Expo commenced last year with thousands of guests and over 100 exhibitors in the wedding industry.
This year’s exhibition witnessed about 200 exhibitors and thousands of guests. It took place from Thursday 21st March to Sunday 24th March 2013, and the award ceremony was held at the same venue, Saturday 23
rd March at the Landmark , Oniru Victoria Island Lagos.
Bursting with happiness, the darling founder of Sweet Indulgence, Olamide Smith, gushed upon receiving the results of the win, “On behalf of the wonderful and steadfast Indulgence team(wouldn’t have done it without them), I say a whopping Thank You to all of you who believed in us; for your tremendous support & overwhelming votes …and of course your continued patronage 😉 ..God Bless You all!!!! The bar has been raised for us & we promise to continually Indulge You!!!”
