“So you sitting in the corner, (don’t dull) Wearing Dolce and Gabbana (Don’t dull) Awon boyz don hammer (Don’t dull)…” This line from Wizkid’s 2011 hit track “Don’t Dull” is what comes to mind while watching the Starboy strut on the runway at the Dolce & Gabbana show during Milan Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2019 on Saturday.

The Nigerian afrobeat superstar displayed his modelling skills during the weekend when he walked in the Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer 2019 (SS19) Menswear show in Milan, Italy, much to the admiration and cheer from fans who recognized him. He strutted on the runway, clad in a bull-fighter inspired outfit; heavily gold embroidered black trousers and a matching jacket worn over a white studded t-shirt, with a studded face mask. The 27-year-old entertainer had earlier in the day hinted in a tweet ‘Taking the sauce to Milan’ ahead of his runway debut. He subsequently shared behind the scene photos and video clip of himself being fitted by quintessential designer, Stefano Gabanna.

The “Ojuelegba” hit singer was in the company of British supermodel Naomi Campbell and musician Tinie Tempah who also walked for the Italian Fashion powerhouse.

You would recall that Wizkid was one of the illustrious young Nigerians selected to model the Nike branded Super Eagles World Cup kit, along with Beats 1 radio personality, Julie Adenuga, documentary photographer Yagazie Emezi and Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi during the launch of the Russia 2018 kit.

If feelers from social media are anything to go by, then Wizkid has made Nigerians and many of his fans all over the world very proud.
