Teni and Phyno collaborate in the December 2018 single titled, “Pray”.

Last year was perhaps the most rewarding year in Teni‘s music career. She worked with the likes of Adekunle Gold, Shizzi, Phyno and Mayorkun, and won The Headies’ Rookie of the Year, SoundCity MVP Awards Festival’s Best New Artist and Nigeria Entertainment Award’s Most Promising Act to Watch.

Phyno, on the other hand, has worked with fellow indigenous rapper Olamide since “Ghost Mode” in 2012. His connection with the average Nigerian, unique rap style, and the fact that he does it in Igbo has not only endeared him to his tribesmen but everyone else who loves good Afro-pop music.

In “Pray”, the two geniuses emphasize the place of the divine in achieving success and genuine wealth. It is produced by JaySynth, whose magic fingers also produced Teni’s hit songs “Case” and “Askamaya” for Dr. Dolor Entertainment, to which Teni is currently signed
