Impossibility Is A Myth: A Solo Art Exhibition

Terra Kulture

Kanye Tagbo-Okeke is an abstract artist, a 9-year-old native of Anambra State. The narrative of his life in the past 3 years has inspired thought-provoking conversations about the potential of children with special needs in Nigeria and across the world. In 2017, the Nigerian ambassador to Austria, an avid art collector, discovered Kanye’s art and began to point other prominent art collectors and aficionados to the young prodigy. Kanye has been dubbed the ‘Young Picasso’, and his work is currently in the collection of distinguished personalities and institutions like the Pakistan Embassy, the Finland Embassy, the Moya Museum, the Archduke and Archduchess of Austria, and Suleiman J Al Herbish (DG of the OPEC Fund). He is the youngest artist to have ever received the Flame of Peace Award in Austria.

His work will be on display in a special solo exhibition titled ‘Impossibility is a Myth’.

Living in Bondage: Breaking Free Movie Premiere

Bella Naija

Living in Bondage was an iconic 2-part film released in 1992 that told the story of Andy Okeke, a man who gave in to the pressures of poverty and joined a secret cult, sacrificing his wife in the process. Before her death, his wife lay a curse on his life and things began to deteriorate quickly. Andy found freedom eventually, in a church. With Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, Ramsey Nouah’s objective is to present a sequel to the younger generation that missed the impact of the original film. He announced the project in 2015, and we finally have a release date to look forward to: November 8. In flashy Lagos fashion, a themed movie premiere will come first.
