The first thing to do is go to Settings, click on accessibility, then Spoken Content, and switch on Speak Screen. With this tool turned on, swipe down from the very top of the screen with two fingers, on any page, and the device will read the on-screen text to you. Hack 10: When looking for information on Google or another online search engine, use a minus (-) sign to exclude words you don’t want to be searched for. This refines the results to filter out things you don’t need. For example, type “rice recipe – milk ” to find versions of making rice without any form of milk, or “best movies -horror” to omit movies from that genre. Another search trick: Put phrases in quotes to help the search engine find exactly what you’re looking for. Say you’re shopping for sanitisers. You’ll get better results searching for “Sanitizers than the one excluding the quotation marks, the search engine will look for any of those three words, in any order.
