Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has begun a search for the ‘perfect’ stadium to host Libya on Match Day 3 of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers scheduled for October 10.

Nigeria lost her opening game of the qualifiers to the Bafana Bafana 0-2 in Uyo and currently are on zero points. So in order to return hope back to Nigerians, the team will have to win their next two matches before they face South Africa for a second leg encounter.

The Super Eagles will play away to Seychelles in Victoria on September 7, before hosting Libya in October.

To this effect, Rohr, on Wednesday went ahead to inspect the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna and may very well be making more visits to other stadiums to determine which is the best suit for the Eagles clash.

The technical adviser was seen in the company of NFF’s Second Vice President Shehu Dikko and Super Eagles’ Team Administrator Dayo Achor during the inspection.

According to a statement by Ademola Olajire, the Director of Communications at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Rohr would on Friday make known his list of selected players for the away tie against Seychelles.

Following their home game against Libya, the Super Eagles will visit the Mediterranean Knights three days later for a second leg clash, before moving to South Africa for another second leg game against the Bafana Bafana on November 17.

Nigeria’s last game in the qualifiers will see them host Seychelles on March 22.
